A dear friend of AAM, Krista L. Bartle, of Oxford, passed away unexpectedly.  Krista was known by us as the owner of the $1200 cat! I remember her calling me when this stray cat got hit on her road and she rescued it. Twelve hundred dollars later and at least 3 months of recooping in a crate that I lent her, he obviously became her cat. Krista was always very supportive of AAM, along with her good friend, Cory Skoros Burns.

The animal world will miss Krista very much, and so will we.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Chenango County is the home to thousands of feral cats. These cats live in neighborhoods in the city of Norwich, in every town and village, as well is in rural areas.  Every spring, these cats are having more unwanted kittens.

The most effective way to lower their numbers is to spay and neuter these cats. We have been successful in doing this, but we need your ongoing financial support so that we can try to put a stop to the constant reproduction of feral cats.

We are in dire need of donations to help spay and neuter as many feral cats this year as possible.
